So this week flew by. I literally don't even know where 1/2 of the week went. It's all good though! I was pretty excited for Saturday, since we had a baptism!!
So our baptism was for a 9 year old boy, whose name is Larry Coria. The week before, we had been planning the date, and the interview. The day of the interview, we went there and no one was home. We thought it was a little odd since they have been so excited, but we thought that something important must have come up. Later that night, we talked to our branch president who told us that while Brother Coria (His job is a guard at a gas station) was at work, a few people came up and started firing shots. They shot Brother Coria in the arm and the leg. They rushed him up to the city north of us, which is about 2 hours away. Luckily, brother Coria ended up being ok! When we found this out, we contacted them and told them that it would be totally ok if we waited until they came back so that they could attend the baptism. They insisted that we continued with the baptism, even though they weren't there.Monday, February 29, 2016
